Example Design

I used the flowers from this
mongolian god To represent harmony

After my research into the Aztecs , Mongolians and American Indian Gods and beliefs i decided that i would use the concept 'Gods;Harmony and Power' Because I found the contrast between the peaceful and delicate spirit guides of American Indian tribes against the powerful, blood lust of the Aztec gods really intrigueing , So to show the difference between the two religions i have made the top of the garment symobolize harmony , with cool greens and reds . The shape is smooth and has no harsh corners ,this also adds to the harmony concept , I have the spirit guides displayed on the top of the garment also ; Butterflies , coyotes , falcons etc,.etc. )Around the spirit guides are patterns extracted from the mongolian god research i did .
The bottom of the garment represents the harsh and blood thirsty aztec religion . I have made it fade tonaly from cool relaxing colours to harsh and power colours to show the contrast between the two .
The shape and patterns on the bottom half of the garment are sharp and geometrical , these patterns are extracted from my aztec research and also represent the power and brutality of the aztec gods .
I used the shape of the shoulders on this mongolian bridal gown and made it bigger to link to haute couture , and also to link to my Concept ( 'Gods ; Power And Harmony') I did this to symbolize the power of the Gods .

I used these moodboards .
